Anhui Development Minerals Concentrator Filter Reform Annually 800,000 yuan

Recently, the Hanxing Metallurgical Mine Administration Anhui Development and Mining Corporation completed the renovation project of a 600,000-ton/year concentrator filter, which enabled the concentrate moisture to be controlled within 8%, meeting the design specifications. Compared with the previous inline filter, the updated ceramic filter can reduce operating costs by about RMB 820,000 per year.
The company's concentrator is the first company in China to use the magnetic anti-flotation process to select mirror iron ore, which has never been industrialized before. The plant's dewatering system uses an internally-filtered filter commonly used in mines. Due to the fine grain size of mirror concentrate compared with that of magnetite concentrate, the concentrate powder passes through the filter cloth of the filter and enters the vacuum pump, which directly wears the pump body, resulting in poor filtration effect. Not only the water content of the concentrate cannot reach the design standard, and The failure rate of equipment has increased and the maintenance workload has been increased. In a full-load operation, a vacuum pump is required to be overhauled in less than half a month. The cost of spare parts per year is as much as 500,000 yuan. At the same time, since the GN-40 filter vacuum pump uses a 75-kilowatt motor, the energy consumption is high, and the annual power consumption alone reaches more than 700,000 yuan. For this purpose, the company listed the filter renovation as a key project, specifically arranged for engineers and technicians to inspect and compare a variety of filter equipment, and carried out on-site concentrate filter tests. Finally, a more advanced ceramic filter was selected. The installation and commissioning were completed in early September and it worked well for one month.
