A new breakthrough in the research of diamond film cutters

The school has made outstanding achievements in the research and development of new materials, and has made breakthroughs in plasma technology and new materials and biomedical polymer materials. Vice President Wang Jianhua, as the technical leader, researched the “Resonant Cavity Microwave Plasma Chemical Vapor Deposition Diamond Film Technology” in 2002. He won the second prize of Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award in 2002 and undertook the “Special Material Diamond Film Device Manufacturing and Products of the State Planning Commission”. The “Industrialization” project hosted the “Technical Research on Industrialized Diamond Film Cutter”, a major project of the Provincial Science and Technology Department. During the implementation of these projects, it solved the key to the design, manufacture and stable operation of high-power microwave plasma devices. The technical difficulties have made the development level of China's microwave plasma devices reach the international advanced level. The series of plasma research and teaching equipment has added an annual output value of more than 40 million yuan, which is of great significance.
