The State Certification and Accreditation Administration has issued an announcement a few days ago and announced the sampling principles and testing requirements for the special handling procedures for 13 automotive and motorcycle parts and components such as automotive lamps and lanterns.
According to the Announcement No.137 issued by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of the People's Republic of China in 2005, 13 automotive and motorcycle parts and components such as automotive lamps and lanterns have been listed in the compulsory product certification list. Since December 1, 2006, they have been listed. The products of motor vehicle parts and components, which have not obtained the compulsory product certification certificate and have not applied the Chinese compulsory product certification mark, may not be manufactured, sold, imported or used in other business activities. In order to ensure the smooth implementation of the compulsory certification system, the 13 types of motor vehicle spare parts imported in small quantities that have not obtained mandatory product certification due to special purposes or for special reasons can be declared in accordance with No. 20 of 2005 issued by the CNCA. The regulations apply for special treatment.
