Zhonggong International Receives Acceptance Certificate for Myanmar Meridian Tire Factory
On December 2, 2010, the Department of Tire and Rubber Industry of the Ministry of Industry of Myanmar issued the final acceptance certificate for the Tire Factory Project to Zhonggong International . The project is to build a 300,000 radial tire factory, including design, mechanical equipment supply, installation guidance, commissioning and training. The Chinese government provided preferential export buyer credit and signed a commercial contract on September 25, 2007. The project went into effect on November 21, 2008. After many efforts, the project was completed and put into operation within the contract period, and the completion ceremony was held on February 10, 2010. After nearly 10 months of inspection by the owner, the plant's production capacity and various economic and technical indicators have met the requirements of the contract and reached the relevant industry standards, and Myanmar has fully affirmed the project. The owners expressed their gratitude to the Chinese companies for their contribution to Myanmar's tire production industry.
