Molybdenum ore beneficiation technology

The main molybdenum ore flotation-based, coal oil, diesel oil, etc. are commonly used in the election of molybdenum collectors. Different molybdenum mines have different flotation processes.

Although molybdenum ore is an easy-floating mineral, the molybdenum content of most molybdenum deposits is generally finer. When the fineness of grinding is insufficient, the molybdenum concentrate contains a large number of coarsely connected organisms. In order to dissociate the molybdenum coarse concentrate monomer, the molybdenum concentrate is generally selected for multi-stage selection and multi-stage grinding.
There are two main processes in copper- molybdenum or lead- molybdenum ore: copper-preventing (lead) molybdenum process and copper (lead) molybdenum mixing-re-copper (lead) and molybdenum separation process. Produced inhibition in practice mainly copper (lead) floating main molybdenum, inhibitors are commonly used: lime, phosphorus, sodium hexametaphosphate, sodium silicate, sodium carbonate, thioglycolic acid, sodium sulfide, phosphorus and the like Knox. Kerosene and diesel oil are used as collectors, and No. 2 oil is used as a foaming agent for flotation.

Tungsten-molybdenum ore generally uses preferential flotation of molybdenum, and then re-selection of black tungsten ore. If it is scheelite , it is also recovered by post-flotation.

Carbon-bearing molybdenum ore generally adopts chemical beneficiation method. There are two main ideas:

1. Direct leaching: oxidizing acid leaching or salt leaching (using certain salts to characteristic leaching-purification-recovery of molybdenum).

2. Leaching after calcination (converting sulfide which is difficult to be leached into oxide which is more easily leached - leaching - purification - recovery).
