During his time as managing partner, Rauriel continued to strengthen traditional markets and expand into emerging markets, leveraging high-performance tire segmentation and leading positions in specialty tires, consolidating and balancing the global production and sales distribution. Founded in 1889 in Clermont-Ferrand, a central city in France, Michelin has sales offices in more than 170 countries and territories around the world.
