"Food Testing Laboratory Open Day" kicks off in Beijing

On September 9, the "Food Testing Laboratory Open Day" event kicked off in Beijing. Nine food technology organizations in Beijing were open to the community. More than 100 representatives of the business community, representatives of inspection agencies, teacher representatives, student representatives, members of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and representatives of the National People's Congress entered the laboratory to visit the food testing process and listen to experts explaining food safety knowledge. . At the event, relevant experts explained food safety knowledge such as lean pork, melamine milk, blended vinegar, and fake wine, and answered the food safety concerns of consumers. In addition, each inspection and quarantine bureau directly under the inspection and various geological supervision bureaus will carry out various forms of "Food Testing Laboratories Open Day" activities across the country in the near future to promote food safety knowledge and promote the community's common concern and participation in food safety work.
