Rolls-Royce 1000 azimuth thruster delivery

Recently, Rolls-Royce delivered the 1000th azimuth thruster to Damen Shipbuilding. This is a milestone in the history of cooperation between Rolls-Royce and Damen Shipbuilding over the past three decades.
The Rolls-Royce 1000 and 1001 US 255 FP azimuth thrusters will be installed on a newly constructed Damen ASD2913 tugboat with a power of 2,525 kW each.
It is reported that the 1000th and 1001th US 255 FP azimuth thrusters delivered by Rolls-Royce were installed on board in Romania at the end of last year.
