Entrusted by XXX of Lingbao City, Henan Province, Xi'an Tianzhou Mining Technology Development Co., Ltd. conducted a smelting test on the Dahu molybdenum mine in Yangping Town, Lingbao City from December 2006 to March 2007, in order to effectively use the Mineral resources provide a preliminary basis.
The Dahu molybdenum ore is an altered fracture zone-fine vein zone type molybdenum deposit. The ore genesis belong to the post-generation high, medium and low temperature hydrothermal mineralization genes associated with the deformation structure. Mica ore type is divided into two pieces England potassium feldspar (Ma) rock type containing Cu - Mo ore two mica and quartz chips (Ma) rock type copper - molybdenum ore. The main metallic minerals: molybdenite, pyrrhotite, chalcopyrite, pyrite, galena, sphalerite, magnetite, titanium, zircon and the like. The main gangue minerals are: quartz, feldspar, biotite, muscovite, sericite, iron dolomite, epidote, graphite, etc.
The ore grade: molybdenum 0.086%, copper 0.012%, lead 0.047%, zinc 0.027%, nickel 0.023%, gold 0.34g/t, carbon 0.92%. The molybdenum ore is in the form of a fine sheet with a particle size of 0.02 to 0.05 mm. Due to the high graphite content of the ore, it has a serious impact on flotation.

The test adopts the combined process of smelting and smelting. The ore is subjected to full-mix flotation under the condition of grinding fineness of -200 mesh and 85%, and the obtained mixed coarse concentrate is further ground to -500 mesh 87%, which is obtained through four selections. Mixed molybdenum concentrate, molybdenum grade 16.04%, molybdenum recovery rate 86.42%; copper grade 1.42%, copper recovery rate 63.61%; lead grade 3.82%, lead recovery rate 59.87%; gold 7.52g/t. The mixed molybdenum concentrate was further subjected to leaching (ie, chemical beneficiation ) test to obtain the finished bismuth molybdate, and the leaching rate of molybdenum was 95.45% to 96.76%; and the total recovery of molybdenum was 83% by flotation and leaching. Copper leaching with associated metal copper obtained copper leaching rate of 91.81% ~ 93.67%, flotation and leaching, the total recovery of copper was 58%. The acid leaching residue after leaching contains 5.45% lead and 32.55 g/t gold. The associated metals are effectively recovered.

Conclusion:

1. The main metal minerals of Dahu Molybdenum Mine include molybdenite, chalcopyrite, sphalerite, galena, pyrite, and pyrrhotite. The main gangue minerals are quartz, feldspar, biotite, muscovite, sericite, iron dolomite, epidote, and graphite.
2. The type of ore is two mica potassium long quartz gneiss type copper-molybdenum ore and two mica quartz gneiss type copper-molybdenum ore. Ore alterations are more serious, such as sericitization, silicification, and iron dolomitization. The metal mineral inlay has a fine grain size, especially the molybdenum ore is finely flake-shaped, the particle size is 0.02-0.05 mm, and the grinding fineness needs to reach -500 mesh 80% or more to be basically dissociated, which not only makes the selection difficult, but also causes The mineral processing process is complicated.
3. The content of sulfides associated with copper, lead, zinc and nickel in the ore is not up to the comprehensive recovery grade, but it is enriched during the flotation process, especially copper, lead, iron and sulfur are mostly enriched to flotation. In molybdenum concentrate. Due to the close symbiosis of metal sulfide ore, the fine grain is seriously wrapped, and the separation is difficult. The selection of molybdenum concentrate is high, which is one of the important reasons for the low grade of molybdenum concentrate.
4. The ore contains carbon (mainly graphite) of 0.92%, which is more than 10 times of molybdenum content. Because the floatability of graphite is very similar to that of molybdenite, it is difficult to suppress in the flotation. Although it has been tested by multiple decarburization tests, it is difficult to make effect. Finally, the molybdenum concentrate still has more than 19% carbon, which also affects molybdenum. One of the important reasons for the low grade of the mine.
5, the ore contains SiO 2 up to 60% or more, in addition to quartz, contains a large number of biotite, muscovite and sericite, although with a large number of silicate inhibition, the final molybdenum concentrate containing SiO 2 is still about 10%, on molybdenum Concentrate quality also has a greater impact.
6. The test adopts full-mix flotation. After a coarse and four fine, coarse concentrate re-grinding process, the molybdenum grade in the molybdenum concentrate is 16%, the molybdenum recovery rate is 86%; the copper grade is 1.42%, and the copper recovery rate is 63.61%; The lead grade is 3.82%, the lead recovery rate is 59.87%. The molybdenum concentrate contains 19.69%, TFe 19.03%, S 24.7%, and SiO 2 9.72%. In view of the high impurity content of molybdenum concentrate, the joint-smelting combined process is adopted for the ore, that is, the leaching test scheme for molybdenum concentrate is reasonable.
7. Due to the small yield of molybdenum concentrate in the flotation process, it is required to select more times, and it is difficult to carry out closed-circuit test, which needs to be further realized in the production process.
8. The flotation molybdenum concentrate is treated by chemical method, and the molybdenum leaching process is: molybdenum concentrate→oxidation roasting→Sodium Hydroxide leaching→barium chloride precipitation molybdenum→molybdate bismuth molybdate (ie, finished bismuth molybdate). The leaching rate of molybdenum is 95.45% to 96.76%. Flotation plus leaching, the total recovery of molybdenum is 83%.
9. The copper leaching process is: alkali leaching slag→ sulfuric acid solution leaching→solution extraction→electrolytic deposition (winning copper), and the leaching rate of copper is 91.81%-93.67%. Flotation plus leaching, the total recovery of copper is 58%.
10. Flotation molybdenum concentrate contains 7.52%g/t of gold and 3.82% of lead. 85%~90% of lead in the leaching process enters the leaching residue. The leaching residue contains 5.45% lead and 32.55% g/t of gold. It contains 0.15% copper and As 0.057%. It has reached the grade of lead-containing gold concentrate and the content of impurities. It can be used as raw material for gold concentrate or gold and lead.
11. The selection and smelting process test is technically mature and reliable, and economically reasonable. It can be used as a preliminary basis for the development and utilization of molybdenum resources and comprehensive recovery.
