The design principle of the whiteness meter is complicated, and it is difficult for laymen to understand. The whiteness measuring instrument uses an integrating sphere to measure the absolute spectral diffuse reflectance. The light emitted by the tungsten halogen lamp is converted into a blue-violet light by the condenser and the filter, and enters the integrating sphere. After the light is diffusely reflected on the inner wall of the integrating sphere, the light is irradiated. The test mouth of the sample, the light reflected by the sample by the condenser, light bar filter group after the silicon photocell received, converted into electrical signals. Another silicon photocell receives the base signal inside the sphere. The two electrical signals are respectively amplified, mixed, and the result of the measurement is digitally displayed.

The whiteness measuring instrument adopts d/o illumination observation geometry (ISO2469). With power-off protection, zero adjustment, alignment, and standard volume data, even if power is lost for a long period of time, it protects data from loss.
