1. Wires and cables are fed into the crusher, where they are broken down and the plastic sheath is separated from the copper. The size of the crushed material depends on the mesh size of the sieve—larger mesh sizes result in longer pieces and higher output. The appropriate mesh should be selected based on the type of material being processed.
2. The crushed material (a mixture of copper granules and plastic pieces) is transported to the separator via a conveyor. During this process, dust and lightweight plastic fragments (including fibers, ropes, or tapes mixed in the wires) are collected by a pressure-reducing blower. The outlet of the blower is connected to the dust collector, which uses a dust collection bag to prevent environmental pollution. Dust and some lightweight plastic particles are collected in the bag and discharged when it is full.
3. The separator is used to separate plastic pieces from copper granules. Based on differences in physical properties and specific gravity, there is a deviation in the movement of materials under aerodynamic and vibration friction forces. By adjusting the conveying speed and amplitude parameters, copper granules (with higher specific gravity) move to the bottom of the sieve and travel upward, while lighter plastic pieces move to the top and travel downward. Both materials are finally discharged through separate outlets.
4. All units are mounted on the underbed to form a complete structure. The machine is pre-adjusted for production before shipping, and the customer only needs to connect it to the power supply.
