This afternoon, firefighters in Northbrook responded to a multi-vehicle collision reported near the intersection of Pfingsten and Techny. The incident involved a garbage truck and an IDOT sewer vac, which had collided with a passenger vehicle. Upon arrival, emergency responders discovered one individual trapped inside the car and promptly initiated an extrication effort. Additionally, two other individuals involved in the crash required medical attention. A total of three ambulances were dispatched to the scene to transport the injured parties.
