1 Irregular movement of clothing During the sewing of sewing materials with a sewing machine, there are sometimes irregularities in the speed of clothing movement and short stitches. The movement of the cloth depends on the cooperation of the feed dog and the presser foot. Therefore, when the above-mentioned irregular movement of the clothing material occurs, it can be determined that the tooth and the presser foot have malfunctioned or the pressure is improperly adjusted. For example, the presser foot pressure is too small. Pressing tight fabrics can cause irregular movements. At this time, just press the adjusting screw down to compress the cloth. The presser foot is too high to hold down the cloth and cause the fabric to move freely or not move at all. When adjusting, press the foot wrench first, loosen the guide screw, and then move the presser foot from top to bottom. After the distance between the presser foot and the needle plate is adjusted to a height of 7-8 mm, the screws are tightened and then used by driving.

Another reason is that because the teeth screws are loose, the teeth are shaken from side to side during operation, so that the clothing cannot move forward in a regular manner. The method is to remove the needle plate. Tighten the two teeth screws. After tightening the needle plate is installed, check the two sides of the teeth, whether it is rubbed with the edge of the needle plate groove, if friction, will cause noise and weight phenomenon, then only remove the needle plate, loosen the teeth screws, Adjust the position of the teeth to the middle of the needle plate groove, tighten the teeth screws, and then install the needle plate.

2 The cloth does not move forward on the clothes and it depends on the teeth. When the clothing does not move at all, only the teeth look for problems. If the position of the teeth is too low, the cloth cannot be moved forward. Adjust the nose first, then lift the crank screw to loosen, and then gently lift the rack with a screwdriver, so that the feeding teeth to. Expose the needle plate 0.8-1 mm. It is the standard size of the teeth, so long as you adjust to this position, the cloth can move normally. Finally tighten the screws. When tightening the screw, it is also necessary to pull the head up.

When the fabric goes back and forth to sew fabrics, there is often a tendency for cloth to move back and forth, that is, one step forward and one step backward. This is because the feed dog is too high, the tooth exposes the plane of the needle plate too high and the teeth are always exposed outside the needle plate to reciprocate, causing the cloth to move back and forth. When adjusting, loosen the crank screw, and gently press the tooth downwards with the screwdriver to reduce the feed dog to the standard height, that is, the tooth is exposed to the needle plate 0.8-1mm, then tighten the crank screw.

(4) Closing of clothes When sewing work towels, sometimes the clothing does not move forward. Instead, it moves toward the operator, that is, the clothing material goes backwards. This failure is due to the misalignment of the crankshaft of the upper shaft and the eccentric screw of the cam. The teeth are therefore able to move rhythmically forward. It is entirely the toggle of the feed cam. Because the cam itself is eccentric. Therefore, the fork is toggled forwards and backwards, and the fork again drives the feeding shaft and the dental rack to urge the teeth back and forth. This shows that the eccentric position of the cam is very important.

Upper shaft crank and cam screw standard angle. As long as the angle between the cam screw and the crankshaft is adjusted to 260-300, the cloth will not move back.

When adjusting, push down the back cover of the machine head to see the feeding cam, insert the screwdriver into the inside of the housing, loosen the feed cam screw, and then turn the screw into the curve with the upper shaft and turn it into 260-300. Position, and then tighten the cam screw.
