Avoid over-grinding, usually using multi-stage grinding and multi-stage sorting processes; screening operations are usually prepared for jigging beneficiation; grading operations are prepared for shaker beneficiation; screening and grading are also often used to control crushing size s method. The re-selected pulping operation is completely different from the flotation of the flotation. The re-selected pulping is to provide the required concentration, fineness and suspension state for subsequent operations. Heavy medium pre-selection was developed after the 1970s. China uses heavy medium cyclones as pre-selected equipment. The United Kingdom, Australia and other countries have developed DWP vortex sorters since the 1980s; high media pre-selection has high de-abolization rate. From 20% to 25%, it is economically reasonable.

Mineral sand sorting The equipment used for sorting is mainly jigs and shakers. However, as the resources change, the size of the inlaid tin ore is more and more fine. The shaker has become the main equipment. There are usually four products in the tin shaker, namely concentrate, secondary concentrate, medium mine and tailings. The secondary concentrate in the tin-selecting process has a relatively coarse particle size. In addition to some of the monomeric cassiterite, there is a large amount of iron- tin combined body; the secondary concentrate of the whole plant is usually ground and ground, and then separately sorted. China calls this process "concentration and re-washing of secondary concentrates."

In the case of smelting requirements of low grade (<10%), this process can even be simplified to a single centrifuge sorting process. The small hydrocyclone is mainly used to remove fine slime (<0.005 or 0.01mm grade) before the cassite flotation; the other three equipments are used for mineral processing.

The flotation of tin mud is a supplement to the re-election. It developed in the 1970s, and some tin-selecting plants in the United Kingdom, Japan, Germany, and Australia successively established flotation plants; China also established a cassite flotation plant in Guangxi Dachang and Yunnan Gejiu.
