The scene was filled with intense firefighting activity as crews worked to contain the blaze. Olk's photos offer a rare and detailed look into the emergency response.
In one shot, firefighters are seen directing a water line toward an upper floor, clearly focused on controlling the fire’s spread. Another image shows Squad 5A working in Sector 3 while an engine company sends a hose through a second-floor window, demonstrating the coordinated effort required during such incidents.
Further images reveal multiple lines being used to tackle the remaining fires inside the structure, highlighting the scale of the operation. A Tower Ladder unit, Engine 37, is shown maneuvering its platform into the courtyard, ready to assist in any necessary vertical operations.
