Industrial Oxygen Concentrator for Glass Blowing (3-1000 LPM)
Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology is a method used to separate specific gas components from a mixture of gases under pressure, based on the molecular characteristics and affinity of the gas species for an adsorbent material. It operates at ambient temperatures and differs significantly from cryogenic distillation techniques for gas separation.
Specific adsorptive materials such as zeolites, activated carbon, and molecular sieves are used as traps, preferentially adsorbing the target gas species at high pressure. The process then shifts to low pressure to desorb the adsorbed material.
Technical Principle
♦ Purified air drying treatment, using pressure swing adsorption to separate oxygen and nitrogen.
♦ Due to the selective adsorption properties of zeolite, nitrogen molecules are adsorbed in the zeolite, resulting in an oxygen-rich gas phase that is output as the product.
♦ The system consists of two absorption towers. One tower is used for oxygen production while the other undergoes desorption and recycling, ensuring continuous operation.
