Working fire in the Bartlett FPD, 12/11/17

12/11/17 – Bartlett Box Alarm at 1760 Hilltop in unincorporated Elgin

Last night, Bartlett firefighters were called to a reported garage fire on Hilltop Road in unincorporated Elgin. Upon arrival, crews found a fully involved attached garage fire that had already spread into the home. Due to the intensity of the fire, strong wind conditions, and the absence of nearby fire hydrants, the department activated a MABAS Box to bring in extra personnel and equipment to help control and extinguish the blaze.
