1. Cables are fed into the crusher, where they are broken down, and the plastic sheath is separated from the copper. The size of the crushed material depends on the mesh size of the sieve—larger meshes result in longer pieces and higher output. Mesh selection should be based on the type of material being processed.
2. The crushed material (a mix of copper granules and plastic pieces) is transported to the separator via a conveyor. During this step, dust and lightweight plastics (such as fibers, ropes, or tapes mixed in the wires) are collected by the pressure-reducing blower. The blower connects to the dust collector, which uses a dust collection bag to prevent dust emissions, promoting environmental protection. Dust and some light-weight plastics are collected in the bag and discharged when full.
3. The separator is used to separate plastic pieces and copper granules. Based on differences in physical properties and specific gravity, there is a deviation under the influence of aerodynamic and vibration friction. By adjusting the conveying speed and amplitude parameters, copper granules (with higher specific gravity) move to the bottom of the sieve and upward, while plastic pieces (with lower specific gravity) move above the copper granules and downward, eventually discharging through separate outlets.
4. All components are mounted on the underbed to form a complete structure. The machine is pre-adjusted and ready for production before shipping, requiring only a power connection from the customer.
