**Introduction:**
Based on years of experience and advanced technology, the LSX screw sand washing machine is designed to offer greater capacity and higher cleaning efficiency compared to conventional models. Known as a "stone washing machine," it can handle materials up to 30mm in size. This equipment is commonly used in quarries, mineral processing plants, building material production, and other industries where clean sand is essential.
**Working Principle:**
The screw washer is inclined at 15 degrees, with three weir plates forming a sediment pool beneath the water tub. The screw head is immersed in this pool, and the screw rotates continuously, driven by an electric motor through a reducer. Fresh water is introduced from a porous plate at the bottom of the sediment pool, while the washed sand is discharged from the top and transported via a belt conveyor.
**Washing Process:**
As the sand enters the sediment pool from the feeding box, the rotating screw blade causes the sand to turn, roll, and grind against each other. This action removes impurities and the air-water layer surrounding the sand, facilitating effective dehydration. The rising current of fresh water carries foreign particles to the surface, where they overflow the weir plate, completing the washing process.
**De-Watering:**
Sand with higher density settles at the bottom of the tub. The screw blade pushes this sand upward, and as it passes through the upper part of the tub above the water level, the water drains into the sediment pool through another drainage ditch. The de-watered sand is then discharged from the outlet.
**Classifying:**
Material classification is achieved by controlling the overflow of fine particles that do not meet the required standards. This is done by adjusting the height of the weir plate and the speed of the screw.
