New area apparatus at Pierce

Hey everyone, This message is from Jeff Rudolph. He recently made a trip up to Pierce to check on the progress of some new trucks. Skokie’s new Engine 17, which is a 2013 Dash CF with 1500/500 PUC specs, is expected to be delivered around mid-January. While he was there, he also took a look at Evanston’s new engine and a squad truck that’s being built for Posen. I’ve attached some photos below so you can see what these trucks look like as they’re being built. The first one is an Arrow XT engine being constructed for Evanston, Illinois. The second is a PUC rescue pumper destined for Posen, Illinois. And the last few are pictures of the Dash CF PUC that’s being built for Skokie. There’s still quite a bit of work to be done before these trucks are fully ready, but they’re looking great so far! Jeff took these shots himself, and I have to say, he does a fantastic job capturing all the details. Anyway, hope this gives you a good idea of what’s coming down the pipeline. If anyone has any questions or comments, feel free to reach out! Best, [Your Name] --- Attached Photos: 1.
