Hey everyone,
This is something that came directly from Jeff Rudolph. He recently took a trip up to the Pierce plant in Wisconsin to check out some of the new rigs they’re building. One of them is Skokie’s brand-new Engine 17, which is a 2013 Dash CF model with a 1500/500 PUC configuration. He mentioned it should be ready for delivery by mid-January. While he was there, he also got a sneak peek at Evanston’s new engine and a brand-new squad truck destined for Posen.
I’ve attached a few photos below so you can see what these rigs look like as they’re being built. The first one is the new Pierce Arrow XT engine currently under construction for Evanston, Illinois. Next up is the new Pierce Arrow XT PUC rescue pumper being built for Posen. Finally, there are a couple of shots of the new Pierce Dash CF PUC being built specifically for Skokie. All of these images were taken by Jeff Rudolph himself.
