Calculation method of ore recovery rate

It refers to the percentage recovery rates of the number of the number of metal concentrate or ore with a useful component of a metal. This is an important beneficiation index, which reflects the degree of metal recovery, the level of mineral processing technology and the quality of mineral processing in the beneficiation process. The ore dressing process should maximize the recovery rate of the ore dressing while ensuring the grade of the concentrate. Its calculation method is as follows:

Actual recovery rate = [actual concentrate quantity (ton) × concentrate grade] ÷ [raw ore treatment capacity (ton) × original ore grade] × 100% (1-2)

Theoretical recovery = [(β(α-ν)) ÷ (α(β-ν))] × 100% (1-3)

In the production process of the plant, each production class needs to sample and test the ore grade (α), concentrate grade (β) and tailings grade (ν). At this time, the theoretical recovery rate can be calculated from the formula (1-3).

The mineral processing technical supervision department generally compiles the actual metal balance table through the calculation of the actual recovery rate, and compiles the theoretical metal balance table through the calculation of the theoretical recovery rate. The comparative analysis of the two can reveal the mechanical losses in the beneficiation process, identify the abnormal conditions in the beneficiation work and the errors in sampling, measurement, analysis and measurement.
