This device is ideal for conducting 180° bending tests in accordance with international standards like ISO 7438:2005.
Equipped with bidirectional hydraulic loading, the HBT165C allows for easy and precise bending of specimens with diameters up to 40mm. The machine features an adjustable support span via a hand wheel-driven screw mechanism, ensuring accurate alignment and stability during testing. The self-locking support rollers and plug-in mandrels make it simple to switch between different specimen sizes.
The LCD control panel provides real-time monitoring of displacement, speed, and bending angle, making it easy to perform various types of bending tests. The speed is fully adjustable and meets the requirements specified in Clause 6.3 of ISO 7438:2005. In case of disputes, a test speed of (1±0.2) mm/s is recommended.
**Structure and Working Principle**
The HBT165C is designed with a vertical structure, which simplifies operation and makes it easier to remove debris after testing. During operation, the vertical cylinder drives the mandrel to bend the specimen nearly 180° and return, while the horizontal cylinder adjusts the supports to achieve an exact 180° bend.
The span adjustment is achieved through a trapezium lead screw, eliminating the need for a locking nut. An encoder ensures accurate speed measurement, and a valve allows for fine-tuned speed control, meeting all necessary requirements for dispute testing.
