This message is from Martin Nowak:
In September, Roberts Park purchased a Ford F-350/Wheeled Coach to serve as a second spare ambulance. It’s marked as 3R2 since the existing spare is 3R, which is a 2008 Ford F-450/Osage previously known as 308 and then 31. This ambulance came from Virginia and was acquired specifically to act as a backup unit. When it was bought, it had just 32,000 miles on it.
Here are some photos of the ambulance taken by Martin Nowak:

I also attached a picture of A3R, another ambulance in their fleet:

Recently, Roberts Park sent Ambulance 32 to Osage for a rechassis job. The 2009 Ford E-450/Osage received a new chassis, which is a 2013 or 2014 Ford E-450 paired with a 2009 Osage body. Interestingly, the new chassis doesn’t have the usual RP logos on the doors yet, but they plan to add them soon. Here’s a comparison between the old and new chassis:

It’s always fascinating to see how these emergency vehicles go through such significant upgrades while still maintaining their core functionality. Let’s hope these updates help keep the community safer!
