Crash with entrapment in Hampshire, 11-2-18
From the Hampshire Fire Protection District: The Hampshire FPD responded to a serious vehicle accident involving a car that crashed into a tree near Harmony, just north of Kelley Road earlier this afternoon on November 2nd, 2018. The scene was extremely damaged, and emergency crews had to work quickly to extract one injured individual from the wreckage. The patient was transported by ambulance to an Elgin hospital with severe injuries. Due to the high volume of calls at the time, we also received assistance from the Burlington and Pingree Grove Fire Protection Districts to ensure all incidents were properly handled.
